Richard Neher
Richard (Rich) Neher was born in Mainz, Germany, and emigrated to the United States in 1985. While he holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, his passion and expertise lies in the sport of tennis. He served on the Board of the San Diego District Tennis Association (part of the USTA's Southern California Section) and works on the USTA Tennislink Team, a support team for USTA Coordinators, Captains, Tournament Directors, and players. In his spare time rich develops and runs Social Tennis Networks. Before moving to the Los Angeles area Rich founded and ran the San Diego Tennis Network organizing and running over 1,000 tennis events in almost 10 years. The United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) San Diego Division presented him the distinguished Community Service Award in 2003.
Currently, Rich is developing and running the California Social Tennis Network in the San Fernando Valley / LA area. His dream is to eventually create a national organization of Tennis Networks.
